The Ecclesiastical Standard for Media and Ethical Rigor (ESMER) is the definitive, multi-tiered measure of professional and ethical competence established and administered by the Office of Certification of The Stanley Garland Ministry. Enacted by the Ecclesiastical Authority, this Standard directly operationalizes the Doctrinal Mandates articulated in the Statement of Ecclesiastical Covenant and the Articles of Ecclesiastical Governance.

The ESMER serves as the benchmark for validating the integrity and quality of individuals, creative projects, and organizational ethics, particularly for entities such as TreganFilms, ensuring their practice aligns with the Ministry’s principles.

ESMER Tier 1: Foundational Ethical Integrity (E1)

This foundational tier assesses the applicant’s core ethical alignment, commitment to transparency, and adherence to the Ministry’s philosophical mandates.

E1.4: Code of Professional ConductAdherence to the Ministry’s published Code of Conduct, ensuring the individual’s actions uphold the dignity and mission of the ESMER certification.

ESMER Tier 2: Cognitive and Technical Rigor (S2)

This tier assesses the practical, cognitive, and technical proficiency required for advanced, high-quality media production and problem-solving.

S2.1: Predictive AssessmentDemonstrated capacity to apply diligent psychological assessment for enhanced ethical foresight and proactive evaluation of partner or personnel intentions in project development.
S2.2: Technical Media MasteryDocumented proficiency in specialized media skills, including advanced camera operation, custom picture profile utilization, color grading workflows, and/or certified UAV operation.
S2.3: Platform VersatilityEvidence of skill and ability to function across multiple platforms.
S2.4: Quality of Work PortfolioSubmission and approval of a professional portfolio (e.g., IMDb credits, published works) demonstrating sustained output at a high level of quality.

ESMER Tier 3: Executive and Financial Integrity (M3)

This tier is specifically required for individuals or projects involving financial oversight, corporate governance, and senior decision-making.
